PRACTICE PROFILE

James E. Gentry, Jr. (“Jimmy”) is licensed in Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois and practices routinely in all three states. He provides a broad range of legal services to both businesses and individuals throughout the tri-state region without concern for state boundaries. Jimmy provides professional service, timely responses, and personal attention to all his clients.

Jimmy’s practice has an emphasis in providing legal services that include helping small and large businesses alike with every day legal issues, including employment law; advising banks, credit unions and other financial institutions in regard to transactions and collections in both state, federal and bankruptcy courts; helping franchisees and franchisors with formations and dissolutions; working with farming operations to properly protect their investments; assist with real estate transactions; help individuals plan for the future by drafting trusts, wills, business succession and other estate planning as needed; addressing family law issues; performing general collections; commercial and civil litigation; pursuing landlord/tenant issues; and drafting and negotiating contracts/leases.

In his spare time, Jimmy enjoys spending time with his family and friends at his family’s farm, horseback riding, kayaking, traveling, and volunteering in community activities.
